Goldfish in a Bowl Porcelain Limoges Box

A fish swims in a round bowl of painted water, the kind of pet that has kept many a desk company. This is a retired design, a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box from Limoges, France.

Just Keep Swimming

A fish bowl is one of the simplest and happiest pet scenes there is, and this piece captures it in porcelain. The water and the fish inside are painted by hand, so the little bowl looks fresh and full of life.

Out of Production, Still in the Swim

• A retired design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a fish, aquarium or beach house grouping
• Pairs with frog, sailboat and seashell pieces

Fins and Friends

This bowl suits an aquarium hobbyist, a marine biology student, a dentist or pediatrician with a fish tank in the waiting room, or anyone whose first pet was a goldfish won at the fair. As a retired design it also appeals to collectors looking for pieces no longer made.

A Bowl That Never Needs Cleaning

Put it on a bathroom shelf, a home office desk or a beach house bookshelf. It brings the calm of a fish tank to a room without the weekly water change.
