Sleeping Baby in a Pink Bed Porcelain Limoges Box

A newborn sleeps peacefully in a little pink bed, tucked in for the night with not a care in the world. This tender scene is a hand-painted porcelain figurine box, made in Limoges, France.

Sweet Dreams, Little One

There is nothing quite as peaceful as a sleeping baby, and every new parent knows how precious those quiet moments are. The soft pink bed makes this piece a natural way to welcome a baby girl.

Welcoming a Daughter

It makes a heartfelt present for a baby shower, a christening, a hospital visit or a first birthday. New grandparents, godmothers and aunts often choose it to mark the day a granddaughter or niece arrived.

A Tradition in White Clay

Porcelain has been made in Limoges since the late 1700s, when kaolin was found near Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche in 1768. Set this sleeping baby on a high nursery shelf, a dresser in the parents' room or a grandmother's curio cabinet where it will stay safe for years.
