World Globe Limoges Box with Sailing Ship

A world globe turns on its axis while a ship sails across its painted seas, joining far horizons and open water in one small piece. Painted by hand in Limoges, France, this porcelain Limoges box suits anyone with a passport and a long list of places still to see.

Around the World by Sea

Long before air travel, a globe and a ship told the same story, the promise of distant ports and a long voyage to reach them. This box brings the two together, so it speaks to travelers, sailors and armchair explorers alike.

Charting a Course

It makes a fitting send-off for a retirement trip, a first cruise, a semester abroad or a move overseas. It is just as welcome for a geography teacher, a travel agent or a naval veteran who has crossed a few of those oceans in person.

Where Maps Are Kept

Place it in a study near an atlas, on a desk beside a stack of postcards, or among travel souvenirs from real trips. In a nautical room it pairs naturally with ship prints and brass instruments.
