Yellow School Bus Porcelain Limoges Box

A bright yellow school bus rolls along its morning route, a sight that marks the start of every school year. This familiar vehicle is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, made in Limoges, France.

The Morning Route

The yellow school bus is a true American icon, recognized from small towns to big cities. Its cheerful color was chosen to stand out on the road, and it stands out just as well on a shelf.

Thank You on Wheels

It makes a warm thank-you for a bus driver at the end of the year, a teacher heading into retirement, a principal or a school board member. It also suits a transportation director or anyone who still remembers riding the bus every morning.

Parked on the Desk
