Yellow US Navy Bomber Airplane Limoges Box

A yellow US Navy bomber airplane spreads its wings in this aviation tribute. The aircraft is shaped as a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, made in Limoges, France.

Wings of the Fleet

Naval aviation has a proud history, and many of its pilots first learned to fly in bright yellow aircraft that were easy to spot in the sky. This plane honors that tradition, with its cheerful color painted by hand.

Hangar Shelf Notes

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits an aviation, Navy or military grouping
• Pairs with Titanic, globe and binoculars pieces

For Aviators and Veterans

It makes a meaningful present for a Navy veteran, a retired pilot, a flight instructor or an air show regular. It also suits a newly commissioned officer, a Naval Academy graduate or anyone who has just earned a pilot's license.

Cleared for Display

Set it on a study shelf beside flight logs, a desk in a home office or a den with framed squadron photos. Its bright yellow wings stand out against wood paneling, and it pairs naturally with model aircraft and old aviation maps.
